Town of Porter Board Hearing approved minutes- November 15, 2005
Chairman Viney called the Hearing to order. Present were Viney, Fox, Hamilton, Sanderson, Towns, Sweeney, Jeske and 6 residents.
Agenda: (A) Zoning change request from Agricultural One (A-1) District to M-1 Light Industrial for 35 acres in the West 1/2 of the SW 1/4 of Section 10 for Rock Prairie Farms, LLC, 10243 W. Stearns Rd., Evansville, WI. 53536. (B) request a Conditional Use Permit for the assembly of goods. 4.14 (3) A-code section for the above property listed as (A).
Rock Prairie Farms c/o Sandy Martin would like to relocated the Dot manufacturing and offices from Madison to the Town of Porter. All the greenhouses will also be moved. It will employ 35 local people.
Fox moved, Hamilton seconded to accept the request to change the zoning from Agricultural One (A-1) to M-1 Light Industrial and to grant a Conditional Use Permit for the property listed above as (A). Passed 3-0.
Fox moved, Hamilton seconded to adjourn the Hearing. Passed.
