Chairman Viney called the meeting to order at 7:40 p.m. Present were: Viney, Fox, Hamilton, Towns & Sanderson. All members of the Plan Commission were present, Jeske and 3 residents.
Minutes: Chairman Viney read the September 18, 2006 minutes. Coreections: The Budget Work-session is 10/25/2006. Hamilton moved, Fox seconded to accept the corrected minutes. Passed 3-0.
Receipts & Expenditures: The September 2006 receipts (8295-8297) and the October 2006 expenditures (checks #7647-7666) were reviewed. Hamilton moved, Fox seconded to hold #7654 for $42 for a consult fee with Atty. Roethe and M. McGuire. Passed 3-0.
Treasurers Report: Sanderson reported the account activitiy as of September 30, 2006. Checking Acct: $1,485.51; Money Market Acct: $113,716.21; Outstanding Checks: $284.02; LGIP: $60,666.63. Hamilton moved, Fox seconded to accept the treasurers report. Passed 3-0.
Fire District Updates: Evansville: Hamilton reported the land feasibility study will continue. An appraisal was requested for the property. Edgerton: Fox reported they added $2,000 to the budget for additional fuel expense.
Highways: In 2007, the County will charge $600/mile for winter maintenance and $1,600/mile for routine maintenance. The General Transportation Aid amount for 2007 is $103,818. Construction Aid is down $2,000.
Recycling Center Report: Miller reported $455 taken in.
Building Inspector/Zoning Report: Jeske reported $700 in permits & applications for the month. Kyah Norton: Driveway: $175; Andrew Christenson: Driveway: $175; Gary Nelson: CUP: $350. The McGuire/Johnson hookups are still not removed. Viney will contact Atty. Roethe. No news on the P. Burno non-compliance. Fox moved, Hamilton seconded to reimburse Oberdeck Farms the $350 CUP fee. Passed 3-0.
Town Hall: Hamilton moved, Fox seconded to allow the Evansville Sno-Devils to hold a safety course at the Town Hall on December 6th & 9th. Passed 3-0.
Other: Fox moved, Hamilton seconded to adjourn at 8:13 p.m. Passed 3-0. The next meeting will be November 21, 2006 following the Budget Hearing.
